Each morning as the little children begin their day at Geegh Nursery School, they sit quietly and listen to the still Small Voice in the silence. Talk about transforming lives! God still speaks today in the early morning sheer silence of the day as He did during Elijah's time. Before this work began in the 1950's, so many preschool children were turning into little thieves, recalls one of the teachers. Their parents worked from 6 am to 6 pm and locked the children outside during the day with only a cup of rice water. They took what they stole from other houses to the "Thieves Bazaar", got a few rupees and bought food for the day. Today, children are collected from the villages by three auto-rickshaws, fed two meals a day, educated and taught how Jesus wants them to live. They've stopped stealing.
