Santiago and Jackie Olortegui, Founders of Pathway College Outreach Ministry, were approached by a college student who asked them if they could use their ID to purchase liquor. As Santiago thought about this, he began to realize the great need among college age adults. This led them to form a ministry that is now reaching out to students, helping them to overcome the temptations among them and teaching them about their liberty in Christ. During this interview, they offer suggestions to parents to help them assist their children to choose a solid church close to their college.

This year, as they have been on home assignment, they are focusing on raising funds in order to build one more home for the children there. Listen as Everett shares how important it is to remember it is not about the building, but the about children who will be sleeping on the little pillows on the little beds. Some wonder if it is unfair for God to allow so many to have no knowledge of the Gospel. But, there is no injustice in God. The injustice lies in Christians who possess the Gospel and refuse to give their lives to making it known among those who haven’t heard. That is unfair. This is a cause worth living for. It is a cause worth dying for. It is a cause worthy of moving urgently on. We have the Gospel of Christ in us, and we do not have time to waste. (David Platt, in his book, Radical).
