From My Heart to Yours
Recently my pastor shared an important thought while preaching about the Rapture of the Church. People will be saved during the Tribulation. We believe, according to the Bible, that as believers we will be with Jesus Christ. But, if we are in heaven, how will the people that we leave behind receive Christ? He suggested that it would be through the Bible and things that we leave behind. My mind began to race. When I die or am raptured, how could I tell someone where I am?
There are many things I want my children and grand-children to know. I want them to know I love them, to remember family traditions—like cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning, or reading the Christmas story before opening gifts. On Thanksgiving, we always read Psalm 23, just like my dad did. I want them to know my eyes were green and my hair was brown—little things that mattered to me and someday would matter to them. Like, how they are so special to me!
Time goes quickly, so we need to take the time to complete this Rescue Pack. Then, put it in safe keeping. You will find mine in my top drawer.
I pray this pack will be used to see millions accept Christ. For those who have wayward children, this may bring them “home.” After all, we can only take to heaven with us those who accept Christ.
Remember to pray over this Pack—that God will use it to change lives and rescue the ones left behind.
A special thanks to the missionaries that helped put these packs together and to my pastor, David Neff for the idea. All proceeds from this packet will be used to continue to provide homes for missionary families.
See you in eternity!
